Branding, graphics, and limited-edition swag for Pride Foundation’s second annual hybrid fundraising event. This project included event graphics for web and print, as well as designs for unique swag. The base design both adheres to the organization’s branding standards and pushes the brand with bold graphics and colors for Pride Month.

Concept

Something colorful that evokes Pride Month, summer, growth, abundance, celebration, and nature/ecosystem themes.

2021 Design

An explosion of colorful flowers with exuberant text elements in Pride Foundation’s brand colors.

I created the vector illustrations of flowers and arranged them to create the core design. I selected the specific flowers for a wide range of colors (I wanted to utilize the colors of the rainbow to elevate the Pride Month theme) and shapes, but also for their symbolism. All five states that Pride Foundation serves are represented with their state flower: Alaska’s forget-me-not, Idaho’s mock orange, Montana’s bitterroot, Oregon’s Oregon grape, and Washington’s rhododendron.

Check out more of my vector illustrations over on my illustration page.

2022 Design Evolution

I reused the vector illustrations from the prior year to maintain event branding continuity, but rearranged the elements for a 2022 refresh. The 2022 design incorporates even more abundant florals with a circular motif evoking Pride Foundation’s logo and a greater emphasis on Pride Foundation’s brand colors.

2022 Event Swag

I worked with Ponderosa Printing to produce limited-edition swag for the 2022 event. Guests at in-person watch parties across the Northwest received bags and vinyl stickers as a memento from Tend 2022. Event attendees absolutely loved them!

Wow, that’s a GREAT tote bag!

The Big Event

Tend 2022 was a huge success and raised almost $180,000 for Pride Foundation’s work!
